Taiwan Travel Log Part II

Flower carnival at Puli Township, Nantou.

A huge area covered with colourful flowers - not only that, they did such creative decor and landscape to utilise empty areas.

Vain hubster lighting up cigar.

Sun Moon Lake. The largest lake in Taiwan surrounded by beautiful mountains. Here, we took a boat ride to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the fresh breeze.

It is such a beautiful place, so breathtaking and so amazing to see the high capacity of water of the lake. I can say that it is very deep that I would totally drowned if I fall into the water.

Sun Moon Lake, also known as one of the eight wonders of Taiwan.

Next stop was the Chengcheng Train Station, which is the last stop of Jiji branch railway. A countryside and cold area with beautiful scenery. Just to enjoy ourselves, we took the train here to Jiji Station, which is just 2 stops away.

After the train ride, we took a stroll around Jiji Station, a very cute town with loads of street hawkers.

We even met Rilakkuma here!

My favourite shot of him. love love.

From Nontou, we headed up to Taoyuan, a city up to the north which took nearly 3 hours drive. We spent a night in Taoyuan before we headed up to Taipei City the next morning.

Had our dinner at Anatolia Turkish Restaurant. Great food with great ambience. pssst even a plain bread can taste so sedap bila cuaca sejuk2, okay :p

Happy wooly bear after filling up his tummy.

Will continue to blog on our journey to Taipei city. Have a good weekend, all :)

Taiwan Travel Log Part I

Hello :D Happy New Year! Me and hubby spent our last few days of 2013 in Taiwan and here are some of the pictures taken on our first day there. It was a great moment treasured and a worth time spent. On our first night in Taiwan, we stayed at Red Maple Boutique Hotel located in Tai Yi Ecological Farm, Nantou, a palace of flowers forest surrounded by beautiful mountains and great scenery. The weather was just so perfect for outdoor stroll even though Taiwan was having winter at that time, temperature between 8C - 15C. I will blog more about this trip later since I have tones of pictures to be filtered. As for now, enjoy this entry and have a good working days!

What I loved the most about Red Maple Hotel - its toilet!

 Jacuzzi for two! Yay!

And this! This resort served Muslim customers not only in their banquet menu, but they too provide Al-Quran, sejadah and solat schedule in each room.

Woke up the next morning, we took a morning walk around the hotel and all I could say was, this place is so perfect and the view was simply breathtaking!

Stay tuned for more entry on our Taiwan trip :D
