Hello Weekend!

Hi everyone! :) Did you noticed that I've changed my blog layout? This time it is minimalist with clean and sleek fonts. I am tired of having too many pinkish and girlish stuff on my page, that is why I decided to make it  a little bit rigid yet effortless. As for now, I just love the look. And the slow tone of its colors & fonts, it makes me even happier and soother :)

Still in the mood of Hari Raya, have you guys Beraya enough? If you ask the same question to me, my answer is NO and it is a definite one. I had my time spent with my dearest family during the first week of Hari Raya, we even went up and down the road Beraya to our relative's house, but somehow I could still feel that it wasn't enough. As you grow older, you tend to have extra time to spend with your family and loved ones. That is what I feel now. One week of time spent with them felt a bit too fast for me. There were still a lot of thing that I need to catch up with them. Things like gossiping with my aunties and cousins about someone/something that will definitely end up with jokes and laughter, spending time with mom in the kitchen cooking my favorite food and having a tea or coffee time together with all of them while eating banana fritter or jemput-jemput pisang in the afternoon. Yes, I miss those moments. I did not had a chance the other day to do those kind of thing with them. Time was being a little bit envy to me.

To think of it, I really have to be grateful though. Alhamdulillah that I still have them during this Eid. And next year, there is gonna be one additional person in our family member. That is what Farhan told me as he referred that 'additional person' to himself. I was so happy the moment he said that :) Thanks, Love! As I mentioned earlier, I have a small family (closed one) in Johor Bahru , and I am excited of having any new member in the family. The more, the merrier, the better! :D Till then, have a nice weekend, darlings! xoxo!

Us On Aidilfitri

On the third day of Aidilfitri, my family and I made a Raya visit to Farhan's house. This was my first time beraya with my family to his house. And on this Aidilfitri too, this was our first time having our pictures snapped together.  Obviously, I was soooooooooooo happy! :D

Eid Mubarak Day 2, Part 2

Oh yeah, our trip to Malacca did not just stop until the part where we had the seafood fiesta at Alai. We went to Banda Hilir, around Kota A Famosa to have a night walk and took a bunch of pictures. While the parents were chilling and chatting at one spot of the town, we the youngsters and kid wandering and rambling, checked out what was still up at that time in Banda Hilir.

My cousins and I, in front of the Malacca Stamp Museum.

These are the next generation in my family. Although it is small in number, but I believe everyone of us is doing good in our own field. I am the eldest grand children to my late granddad and grandmom (on my mother's side), and I only have 10 little brothers and little sisters who always cling and mingling with me. It is not that easy to be the eldest but somehow it is cool to have everyone attached to me and always prefer me as their top choice to ask or refer this and that.

Cool cousins and their uncle on Merdeka Raya 2011 at Malacca.

We obviously share the same passion. We love the camera!

Eid Mubarak Day 2, Part 1

Beraya session with all of the family. The destination started with visiting the relatives at Simpang Renggam then we headed up to Negeri Sembilan and finally to Malacca for seafood feast at Alai Ikan Bakar. It was a fun, feast and festival! Having each and everyone of us, gathered together for Raya road trip and finally make a stop for food fiesta at Malacca. It was an awesome Raya I shall say :D

Eid Mubarak 2011

Salam Aidilfitri. Maaf Zahir & Batin to all Muslims. Here, in this post, I'm gonna put my Raya pictures, taken with all of my family members. I got hundreds of pictures in my DSLR camera, unfiltered, unedited, but I think I only gonna put some of them in my blog, the rest I will be posting them on Facebook.

On the morning of 1st Syawal, the gathering with the family took place. The occasion starts with makan ketupat before direct to the mosque for Syawal prayer, sesi bermaafan and taking pictures.

Ayah, Mak, me and Ain on the morning 1st Syawal 1432H. Blessed.

Eid Mubarak Eve

This is our routine every year. After making sure our house is set for Hari Raya, my family and I will head up to my  grandparent house to gather with all the of family, having our last berbuka together and bergotong-royong preparing the dishes, setting up the house and other needs for Hari Raya. This is the exact moment where I could feel the excitement and joy for celebrating Syawal with all my loved ones. But somehow, I could still feel the emptiness without having Arwah Mak Tok and Arwah Tok Ayah around. I do miss them a lot.

I love this moment. Berbuka on the final day of Ramadhan with all of the family members.

The awesomeness of Hari Raya

Kuih raya yang tak sempat sampai Hari Raya. Malam raya da habis dua balang. Honey Corn Flakes yang sedap! Made by my aunty! Yums!

Selamat Hari Raya!

Spring Clean

Every year, this is our main duty before celebrating Hari Raya. Mom will definitely assign three of us to do the spring cleaning for the house. And so far, we never fails to make sure our house looks good for Eid celebration.

Home Coming

Last Friday, me and my siblings made our journey to go back to our hometown for Hari Raya celebration. Alhamdulillah, the journey was good and surprisingly the traffic was a lot better than before. It was a smooth and easy riding, not much vehicles on the road. We decided to break our fast at R&R Pagoh, had a light meal since we wanted to spare our tummy for our mom's dishes.

My brother and I.

Three of us, on our journey for Hari Raya home coming.

Pau Kacang for breaking the fast.

Sampai-sampai rumah je mak da hidang sup tulang and ikan cencaru masak terutup. Tak ke bahagia tu? Bliss.

Iftar #3

Another outdated post. Sorry again. Tonight, this is the only time where I could find myself sit down in front of the lappy. Starting from last Friday, I was fully occupied to settle this and that. From a last minute shopping while I was still in KL, to my journey going back to my hometown JB, and lotsa other things, especially in having  things done for Hari Raya, my schedule was really tight and packed. I was totally tied up to an overloaded errands that makes me losing almost 4kg! Ah, never mind about that, for sure I will gain back 2 kilos on this Hari Raya :p Well yeah, as I said before, this gonna be an outdated post. It's about me and all my darlings gathered for another iftar-ing on the last week of Ramadhan.

Iftar with these lovelies.

At the most voted place by all of us, Wong Solo! Yums!
